HardWhich Browser Was The Default For Mac OS In The Late 1990s?

Answer: Internet Explorer
If you bought an Apple computer or upgraded your Mac OS between 1998 and 2003, you discovered an unlikely union between two tech giants. As the result of a five-year agreement between Apple and Microsoft, Internet Explorer for Mac was the default web browser on Mac OS and its successor Mac OS X.
After the agreement expired in 2003, Apple switched the default to their in-house browser, Safari. Both Microsoft and Apple began urging people to change since further development of Internet Explorer for Mac was immediately discontinued with support being withdrawn in 2005.
