HardThe First Song Played On The Moon Was?

Answer: Fly Me to The Moon
Although the song “Fly Me to the Moon”, originally titled “In Other Words”, was written in the 1950s by Bart Howard, it was the 1964 cover of the song by Frank Sinatra that achieved the most widespread recognition and fame.
The wild popularity of the 1964 cover of the song also happened to coincide with the rise of the Apollo space program and America’s drive to put a man on the Moon. It’s no small surprise that a popular song about flying to the Moon and an actual space program dedicated to flying to the Moon became closely associated.
As a result, the song made Moon-related history not once, but twice. During the Apollo 10 mission astronauts played the song while orbiting the Moon (making it the first song played in lunar orbit) and during the Apollo 11 mission astronauts played the song after landing (making it the first song played on the Moon).
