Which Actor Has Appeared In Every Single Pixar Film?
Answer: John Ratzenberger
Fans of the 1980s television comedy Cheers know John Ratzenberger as Cliff Clavin, a postal worker with a dry sense of humor that was a perpetual post-shift fixture at the bar. Fans of the vast number of box office hits animation studio Pixar has cranked out over the last twenty years, however, know Ratzenberger as so much more, including Hamm the piggy bank from the Toy Story series, Mack the truck from the Cars series, and John, a passenger on the luxury space liner in WALL-E.
In fact, Ratzenberger hasn’t just appeared in a pile of Pixar films, he is the only voice actor to make an appearance in every single Pixar feature film to date. He has even had a chance to poke fun at this fact as an in-film character: in the credits of the film Cars, his character Mack lists off all his favorite Pixar characters (all played by Ratzenberger) only to finish his monologue by saying “They’re just using the same actor over and over! What kind of cut-rate production is this?”
